Climate Change

ALL Animals Are Threatened By Animal Agriculture. Not Just Farm Animals.
Researchers are rushing to understand how a quickly changing planet affects myriad species of plants and animals. One thing is certain: There’s still much we don’t know. But one of the things we do know is that we need to act quickly to halt climate emissions, and while we do, many plants and animals have just two choices: adapt or move. 😐 Credit:SentientMedia
A Plant-Based Diet Will Not Only Spare You And Animals, But Our Planet Too.
Environmental scientist and researcher Joseph Poore states that switching to a vegan diet will have a more positive impact on our planet than reducing air travel or buying an electric vehicle! 🌱🌱🌍✈️🚘
Save wildlife, go vegan. 🌱
Animal agriculture contributes 32% of global methane emissions. Methane, with a warming potential 84 times that of carbon dioxide over 20 years, is driving the global heating of our planet and literally melting the homes of some animals. 😢 Credit: ClimateSaveMovement

Here is a little fun fact for Monday morning! These are real grass cells! Don't forget to smile back at the original emoji! 😍 Repost: EarthedCo
By Going Plant-Based You Can Do Your Part.
More than 130 countries have signed the Leaders Declaration on Food Systems, Agriculture and Climate Action at COP28, which for the first time marks a commitment to cut carbon emissions in the global food system. 🙌 Why is this important? 🤔 Well, the declaration underlines the need for agricultural systems to be included in countries’ plans to address climate change, known as Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), by 2025. NDCs are the main way for countries to set climate targets at the COP (UN climate conference). We have high hopes for real system change to be achieved over the coming days! 💚 Repost:ProVegInter
Decide What Kind Of A Difference YOU Want To Make.
“When I’m taking action, I don’t feel like I am helpless and that things are hopeless, because then I feel like I’m doing everything I can. And that gives me very much hope, especially to see all the other people all around the world, the activists, who are taking action and who are fighting for their present and for their future.” @gretathunberg Via:EarthlyEducation/ClimateSaveMovement
Extreme Weather And A Depleted Forest.
The world´s largest rainforest is suffering its worst drought. Throughout Brazil´s Amazon, low river levels have left hundreds of riverine communities isolated and struggling to get access to drinkable water. The beef industry is the biggest driver of Amazon deforestation. Land-grabbers use cows as occupying armies to strengthen their claims on stolen and cleared forest. This has become one of the world’s most heinous climate crimes. 😡 😔
Halloween Horror Manifest.
Halloween may be behind us, but there is one terror that we can’t escape, no matter the time of year. We’re talking about climate change! 😱 While Earth's climate has changed throughout its history, the current warming is happening at a rate not seen in the past 10,000 years. 😮 What can you do? The best thing you can do right now is to go vegan - animal agriculture is one of the biggest contributors to climate change and the general demise of our planet. 🌱🌱
The Future Of Our Existence Is In Our Hands.
In our hands lies not only our future but also the future of all other living creatures with whom we share this beautiful planet. 💚🌱🌱
We Need Our Oceans!
Never forget about our oceans that need us as much as we need them. 💚🌊🌍
We've Not Yet Evolved Enough.
The natural world is an incredible wonder that inspires us all. It underpins our economy, our society, and indeed our very existence. Our forests, rivers, oceans and soils provide us with the food we eat, the air we breathe, and the water we drink. 💚 It's important that we value nature. And the best thing anyone can do for our natural world is to go vegan. 🌱 Animal agriculture and overfishing are destroying our forests, rivers, oceans, soil and air. 😞
We Must Stop Consuming Our Planet Now.
Sir David Attenborough has pointed out how humanity’s wanton destruction of nature will render the planet totally degraded and barren, uninhabitable for millions of people and bring biodiversity populations crashing. 😱 It's time to face reality... we need to make huge changes now! And the best change any individual can do that will have a real effect on our planet is to go vegan. 🌱
We Have An Opportunity Right Now.
We can indeed change what we eat and how we treat nature. And it's never too late to do so. 💚 Be like Greta and go vegan - you'll be saving our planet while living a truly cruelty-free lifestyle. 😊🌱🌱 Credit: VegNews
Change Your Diet, Save Our Precious Environment.
When it comes to solutions to the climate crisis, the first thing that comes up is fossil fuels (coal, oil and gas). But there's another major contributor to climate change - animal agriculture. 😱 Not only do farming animals contribute at least 14.5-16.5% of all anthropogenic GHG emissions globally, but animal agriculture is responsible for damage to our planet, including deforestation, water contamination and soil erosion. 😡 Switch to a plant-based diet!
Share Our Planet, Don't Eat It.
Animal agriculture is a leading contributor to serious environmental problems, including deforestation, climate change, and biodiversity loss 🌎 Protect farmed animals AND wild animals by fighting back against factory farming. The easiest way to do this is to take meat, eggs and dairy off your plate. 😊🌱 Repost: TheHumaneLeague
