For the 2022 collection we dared to play outside the lines and have created a modern, colourful and expressive series of prints. The collection is composed of 17 new artworks created by mixing our love for tactility with a never-ending exploration of new techniques. This series of artwork is inspired by elements from nature that we’ve collected during travels and around our home.

This print is inspired by collecting elements from nature that are fused together into a more abstract and tangible form, where only fragments of reality can be found. The experimentation with nature around us inspired a more abstract composition with irregular and blown up organic shapes in vibrant colours, which brings about a playfulness in the print.

This print is an abstract embodiment of fields, showing a representation from the nature around us. For the original of this print, we worked with multi layered fabric fragments, blown up compositions and a combination of vibrant and muted colors. For the printed version, the human touch is still visible on the collage of fabric scraps where small threads and irregular lines add to the imperfections in this print.

Modern photogram artprint from the Atelier Cph Fragment collection

This print is originally created in the photography darkroom, where we have been experimenting with placing abstract objects and natural fragments directly onto light sensitive paper and exposed it to light. The result is a negative shadow image that shows variations in tone that depends upon the transparency of the objects and materials that we have used. Please note that this is a print of the original photogram.
