In Timisoara in Romania, Macchine has been producing professional espresso machines per Caffe Espresso S.r.l., or MCE S.r.l., since 2002. The new production facility, designed by the German architect Heim Balp Architekten, combines a practical factory and administrative space with a striking display window for the products. Metadecor has realized and assembled aluminum MD Lamel slats for the façade. The 281 slats are in the carmine red house style of MCE S.r.l. coated.
