baked ziti | Easy baked ziti This always is so good | By The Savory South | Y'all. We have one package of cooked ziti. Y'all y'all can use whatever kind of pasta you want but we're using ziti. ZT, that's a fun word to say. We have a bowl. We put in the bowl. On top of our ziti. This is so fun. In the bowl, we have a twenty-four ounce jar of marinara sauce, any kind of pasta sauce, whatever y'all like, okay? Whatever kind y'all like. We have a fifteen-ounce jar of Alfredo sauce. Have you all been to there there's the place in Rome where they create the original fettuccine Alfredo. It was delicious. That's all. Bridgette, did you go there? I forgot. No. Next time. I know. Reason to go back. Um about half a cup of ricotta cheese. You know, y'all y'all know how I measure, okay? Um I also have, this is a seven-ounce brick of shredded Fontina cheese. Fresh shredded Fontina cheese. Fontina cheese is very creamy. Imma I'm going to eat some right now. I'm hungry. Let's see. It taste like a combination of Swiss and something else. Alright. Anyways, about a half cup of mozzarella. All in there. Okay, we can give this a little mix. Um and if a little bit spills over, that's fine because this mixture is going right on top of our ziti. I guess we could have poured this in first and then put the ziti on top, then we would have saved the dish. So y'all I I can't believe I wasn't thinking. Man, what what's going on with me today? Alright, we need some herbs in here. Some herbs, some fresh herbs. Parsley, And what else? I'm a mess over here y'all. I'm a mess. That's okay. Little salt. Oh I should use my special Alaska salt. I bought salt in Alaska y'all from the from the Alaska Ocean. Is that what it's called there? What ocean is that? Pacific Pacific. And the Bearing Sea. Is that right? Where they catch crab and stuff? I don't know. Anyways I ate some crab there y'all. It was real good. Dungeonous crab. Okay. Uh now we're going to pour this on top. I did that real fast. Sorry Bridget. Alright. A layer of mozzarella, about a cup and a half maybe or so. There's already cheese in it but we need more, the crispy cheese on top is like the best part. Okay, now also y'all we're taking about a half cup of Italian-style panko breadcrumbs, okay? A half cup or so or so. You know what that means y'all. Y'all y'all know how to do, okay? Little bit of garlic butter. Alright. We need some green stuff. Uh I didn't even put any basil or anything. Let's put some basil. Oh, that's okay. No, that's that's not the color I was hoping for but that's okay. Little bit of parsley. Y'all this is going to be so good. I'm hungry, Bridget. I'm hungry and we have this Parmesan Romano and Asiago blend. We're going to put some on top. I should have put the parsley on last. Oh well, such as left. 350 about 30 minutes. Look it looks like a sandcastle. Uh y'all know what I'm talking about. Anyways I cooked this a while ago so that's why it took the shape of the bowl but one box of cooked orzo. Alright? We're making a delicious easy salad. Alright we have one cucumber. Uh I I like those. What do they call those? English cucumbers. Those long skinny ones. I like those the best. Alright we have some cherry tomatoes. Right there. Mm mm mm. I'm so excited. I love orzo. We have a red onion. Uh we're going to put a handful I don't know how much that is about half a red onion or so maybe I don't know about that right alright I got it all over my hand now we have one can of black olives I slice them in half I love olives if you want to use karmada olives you can but I I didn't Alright, y'all. We also have some feta cheese. So, this is how much is this? Six ounces. I think we're going to use all of it. Yup. Y'all what did you did you all know I was going to use all of it? Why would I use less? There's no such thing as too much cheese. Alright and now y'all what else we need? We have some fresh deal. Um we're just going to put that right on top of our feta cheese, alright? So, I I love orzo and I love pasta salad. So now y'all I have this red wine vinaigrette. Y'all it's real easy to make your own red wine vinaigrette. I ain't going to lie but I thought I had some red wine vinegar but I can't behind it. So guess what? We improvising. Alright? So we're using this to taste. So I'm going to start off about about half of this. I don't know. Yeah that's about half. Alright y'all time to mixy mixy. I feel like while I'm mixy mixy and I should think of a story to tell y'all but I I need a second Fred. Don't show my face yet. Fred knows if I start telling a story it's time to move the camera to my face but I don't know y'all. I don't I don't like playing these stories out and just let it come to me but I don't know.
