One Cheese at a Time: Jasper Hill Farm and the Rise of Vermont's Local Food Movement - Gardenista
Jasper Hill is a working dairy farm with an on-site creamery in northeast Vermont. An underground aging facility maximizes the potential of cheeses made by the creamery, as well as those made by other local producers. In its 10 years as a farmstead cheesemaker, Jasper Hill has produced two "best of" awards from the American Cheese Society.
