Chilean Guava 'KA-POW' is a fruiting shrub which will explode your taste buds! Chilean Guava 'KA-POW' is an evergreen shrub from Chile related to the myrtle with small, deep green leaves which when crushed are intensely aromatic. In late spring it produces pinkish-white, bell-shaped flowers which are sweetly fragrant and attractive to pollinating insects. Berberis Thunbergii Dart’s Red Lady earned an RHS Award of Garden Merit for its success in the garden, perfect for pollinating insects so is just as effective in wildlife areas of the garden. Japanese Barberry is a dramatically good looking cultivar, a spreading deciduous shrub with deep-purple coloured young foliage creating a contrast with the pale-yellow flowers along each stem in early Spring. Red berries emerge in an appealing way against the dark leaves before the weather changes in Autumn, bringing a change in colour and foliage turns to scarlet-red before falling.
