“Eared” Vase by VeromOCERAMICS The “EARED” vase is a one-of-a-kind piece with an abstract shape, hand-built using the iconic technique by the artist, Veronika Mozessov. The vase is finished with a beige ceramic glaze that is intentionally crazed. The cracked pattern is caused by thermal expansion mismatch between the body and the glaze. After the glaze solidifies (as the kiln cools) it shrinks more than the body. To relieve the tension of being stretched, it cracks. Tap to Shop
