A perfect example of these two interplays is seen in the hotel’s light-yet-warm bathrooms, which are characterised by creamy-hued floor-to-ceiling terrazzo surfaces punctuated by d line sanitary pieces in PVD Charcoal. PVD was considered a perfect finish for the pieces destined for Charlottetårnet – where rooms are repeatedly turned over to welcome new guests – because of its resistance to the harsh, abrasive chemicals required to optimise bathroom hygiene.
