Amtsavisen portrætterer alle byrødder, og her er så beskrivelsen af mig. Nogle få ukorrektheder: Min farfar var formand for Rødding Højskole - ikke forstander. Kun en måneds træning var forud for mit første maraton (2:53) - forud for de 2:38 havde jeg trænet godt 3 mdr.. Ophold i New Zealand og Canada var et halvt år hvert sted.
