Punta Molentis is a beach in the south of Sardinia, in the protected Marine Area of Capo Carbonara near Villasimius. It's characteristic for bright white sandy beach on one side and huge rocks on the other side. There is plenty of opportunities to swim, snorkle, dive, surf or just chill on the beach. Be aware that during the summer - June - September, the area is heavily crowded with tourists.

There is an official beach with all the commercialism you find everywhere else, but then, if you walk to the right side you will discover more peaceful areas. The sea bottom in this area contains natural gases which makes it even healthier to relax in this area.    Once you are in this area, make sure to visit the Stagno Notteri and enjoy the collonies of wild pink flamingos.

Especially in the southern and central part of the Island is easy to see wild pink flamingos. They stop in these areas, during their migrations between Tunis and Camargue.  In the Molentargius pond (Cagliari) and in the ponds in the Oristano area live several colonies of flamingos and they can be seen during the summer and the winter.

Cala Sa Figu is located in the town of Capo Ferrato Muravera.  The beach, consists of a small coves close to another, ensures privacy. It has very clear and blue water.  The beach has a small car park and is characterized by shallow waters which makes it safe children's play. from the car park you have to walk at least 500 m on the stony quite steep road.  You can reach it from Panoramic Road 125 East Sardinia, taking the provincial Olia Speciosa 18 up to and following the signs for Feraxi.
