Pot it only about halfway up the bulb. 3)Water the soil and keep it damp. Avoid watering the neck of the bulb and new roots will form. 4)Keep it under a grow light or under your brightest window. You can also store bulbs in a paper bag in a cool space and plant them outside during the spring/summer.
