Amulet bag

Made from scraps of cotton fabric dyed with plants gathered from the fields surrounding my home. I used crochet cotton dyed from locally gathered walnuts. I picked up the peachy-pink stone used for the closure on one of my daily walks. It is sewn closed and I'm not telling what is inside!!

Turquoise Purse

"One-of-a-kind. Handwoven, beaded necklace pouch for your special charms, crystals, photo or amulet. Heishi and glass beaded collar and unique warp loop fringe. This amulet bag measures 2 3/4” wide x 5” high with a 23” necklace. It is made in Natural and Spruce crochet thread. Size 8 glass beads in Fr. Opal Sm. Topaz and Golden Emerald by Mill Hill are used. A button, Kamali, by JHB is used for the closure and antique silver plastic feathers by Darice are added at the bottom of the bag.
