From the moment you step inside the Downtown Los Angeles Proper Hotel, you can see how designer Kelly Wearster went hyper-local.

A large-scale art installation featuring layers of blue fabric suspended from the ceiling. The fabric resembles clouds, creating a dramatic and ethereal atmosphere. The floor is painted in a similar blue, reflecting the installation and creating a sense of depth. The artwork evokes feelings of wonder and the vastness of nature.
