The major struggle I delt with in crafting this piece was the glazing. It took me a while to determine what kind of glazing to do. I ended up mixing part of a clear glaze with a brown underglaze to create a matte-ish look for the sauce. Not only were the contents of the box hard, but the exterior was difficult as well. I initially planned to paint the chinese symbols with red acrylic paint but I opted to go for a red sharpie instead to make more accurate lines.
