Collaborative mural elementary

Hello, friends! I'm excited to share that the school-wide collaborative my first through fourth grade students created at THE BEGINNING of the school year (yikes!) is finally installed. Today I wrapped up week #3 of school! Man oh man - do I miss the summer! Waking up at 5:15am every morning just isn't really my cup of tea.. This year my school had our students rotate through all 8 discovery (specials) classes during the first 8 days of school (normally we see them for a few days at a time). So this story of Winter Mural Collaborativity begins with a simple request from my amazing music teacherin' friend: to create a piece for the winter program. I wanted to share our wonderful results of this collaborative mural project inspired by the artist Tula Pink‘s Tridazzler Quilt. This idea was created by Don Masse, of Shine Brite Zamorano.
