1. Clean the canvas: Remove any dust or debris by gently wiping it with a clean, dry cloth.
2. Prime the canvas: Apply a layer of gesso to create a smooth, even surface for the paint to adhere to.
3. Sand the surface: If needed, lightly sand the canvas after the gesso dries to ensure a smoother texture.
4. Seal the back: To prevent moisture from warping the canvas, apply a layer of sealant to the back.
5. Let it dry: Allow the canvas to dry completely before starting your painting.

Hope these tips help!

Let's prepare the canvas for Textured art.

Process of priming the canvas

1. Clean the Canvas: Wipe the canvas with a damp cloth to remove any dust or debris.

2. Apply Gesso: Gesso is a primer that helps the paint adhere better and prevents it from soaking into the canvas.Pour a small amount of gesso onto a palette or directly onto the canvas.

I mostly coat both the sides of the canvas.

Use a wide brush or roller to apply a thin, even layer of gesso over the entire canvas surface. Brush in different directions to ensure even coverage.Allow the first coat to dry completely (usually a few hours, depending on the brand and thickness).

3. Sand the Surface (Optional): For a smoother finish, lig Art Process, Diy Artwork, Textured Art, Texture Painting, Texture Art, Art Techniques, Canvas Wall, Canvas Wall Art, How To Apply
