When checking for meningitis; how I remember which is which kernig starts of with a K and I think of the word knee (with kernig you hyperextend the leg at the knee greater than 90 degrees and the patient who is positive will feel discomfort and flex their head , brudzinski starts with a B so I think of a bobble head (when you flex the patients head they will flex their legs from the pain)
