This is Bernardo Rodrigues, aka Joule. He was born with super abilities, able to absorb light and transform it in projetable energy with the help of a pair of gauntlets, constructed by his father. They got rich using that energy as batteries, and when Bernardo saw what he could actually do with his powers, he decided to have fun and use it to help others. He's outgoing, fun, has a huge ego and is totally gay.
