"Beautiful RCA 8000 tube. It's either new or barely used. The getter is full and the only scratches on the base are from when it was tested. The 8000 is a low mu (16.5) 125 watt CCS triode. Cap at the side is the grid connection the top cap is for the plate. The 8000 was designed in the early 1940's. The first mention I have found is in February/March 1941 issue of \"Ham Tips from RCA.\" Overall height approximately 8.5\" Fit the same socket as 211 and 845 triode tubes."
