Yellow brick road

A winding yellow brick road stretches through a whimsical landscape. The road is made of golden bricks, glistening with light. Green trees and lush grass line the path, leading towards a distant, mysterious castle. The sky above is a vibrant blue dotted with twinkling stars. The scene evokes a sense of wonder and adventure.

Now, I’ve been to Kansas – and I can tell you one thing for sure – I’m not going to make a ridiculous joke about no longer being there – we were somewhere a great deal stranger tucked away in these North Carolina mountains.

A couple of weeks ago, I enjoyed a lovely afternoon with some of my family and the DVD of choice was The Wizard Of Oz. I prefer the film when it changes to colour which is as Dorothy lands in Oz and finds herself in a place she did not want to be. She was very keen to get home and the advice she was given was to 'follow the yellow brick road'. Dorothy did as she was advised and followed the yellow brick road and eventually it led home. Along the way she made some strange yet wonderful…
