This is my variant of the rooster, a tattoo with a lot of history. There is a lot of tradition behind Pig and Rooster Tattoo’s. Most believe it orginates from the wooden cages where roosters and pigs were kept in on ships. When ships wrecked or sunk, the lightweight wooden frames became personal flotation devices, giving them a higher chance of surviving the event.
