15min · 4 servings Ingredients • 16 oz whole wheat spaghetti or regular, or mixed • 6 tbsp salted butter • 7-10 cloves fresh garlic • 1/2 cup freshly squeeze lemon juice 2-3 large lemons • 1 1/2 tsp salt • 1/2 tsp black pepper • 1/4 cup pasta water (from boiling the pasta) + more if needed • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese + more for garnish 1-2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley Instructions In a large pot, bring water to boil. Once water boils, add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions. Do not overcook. Reserve pasta water for later (be sure to reserve more than 1/4 cup in case you need more).
