Tana is a series of wall-mounted furniture pieces designed by architect Rikke Rützou Arnved. What they all have in common is a simple expression that is neither disturbed by handles nor suspensions, but where straight lines and clean surfaces are allowed to stand in their undisturbed form. The horizontal surface creates a ledge for objects, while its vertical surface frames and forms a calm, coherent background for what you place on the furniture.

The Missing chair appears as if a simple line drawing has sprung into life. Sensual yet strong, the soft curve of each line creates a whimsy that is hard to describe. Straight lines have been softened, allowing the timber seat and back to appear as if floating above the thin steel frame. What remains are the bare essentials in our own interpretation of the humble cafe chair: light, stackable and durable, completed by a highly comfortable silhouette.
The Pleat pitcher adds to our growing collection of table top items that mix everyday functionality with a sculptural touch. Alongside Ripple and Aura, a polished stainless steel silhouette allows it to reflect its surroundings whilst maintaining a unique presence. With one simple pull on the cylindrical exterior, a perfect spout is formed. Whilst creating a highly functional piece, this action accentuates both the strength and simplicity of the Pleat pitcher.
While the other members of the Covent family balance the elements; the Covent Lounge Chair and Covent Sofa present a universe of warmth. Showcasing the expert detailing and craftsmanship that comes with a range produced solely in Denmark, this pair invites you to nestle within and feel the tenderness of each upholstered surface.
