Mystery Pot 22 maker is Byron Temple. After studying art, he became Bernard Leach's 1st American apprentice. A few years later, he set up a studio & continued making beautiful, functional pottery in NJ. The work embodied a kind of grace in its simplicity & strength in its sturdy construction. In the late 80s, he started experimenting with a very individual expression of his experience in clay to make one-off jars. Each unique, echoing years of experience & timeless in their elegant form.
