Since Eden was built by the angels and makers as a place to safeguard the first humans I wanted to reflect that in the architecture and design. So it ended up being this nice mix of circular mystical elements of the makers mixed with that classical feel reminiscant of the classic Romans. The statues helped a lot with conveying the melancholic feeling of the place showing them as something that used to be beautiful but is now overgrown and deserted.
