In an article from Personnel Management based on a study of over 2,000 employees by Visier, they found 43% of workers had left a job at some point in their career because of a manager and that over half, (53%) were considering leaving their current roles because of their current manager. When hiring the right person is so critical, and when it is your leadership it is not just the success and retention of their role but the people they lead, why do so many organisations continue to gamble?
