Large Victorian 15ct Gold Cabochon Garnet Pendant with a Locket on Back

An imposing and gobstopper-like jewel from the Holbeinesque Period, circa 1860s-1880s. A large cabochon garnet is bordered by a gold petals and beading. It looks very impressive when worn, and the stone has an inner fire that is hard to describe. On its back, there is a room for a photograph or some hair.
