The Bark Ark shelter was created a couple years ago when Bojan Veselica stumbled upon a municipal dog pound full of desperate, caged dogs who were given no food or water at all. Bojan started bringing food daily, and this ordinary man suddenly found himself searching for a way to create a haven where the dogs could eat and sleep in safety. He succeeded in creating a proper rescue center and has saved hundreds of dogs.
