I found this tiled mosaic staircase in San Francisco's Sunset District by chance while wandering around. There are 8 or so other mosaic scenes like this which are best viewed from the landings. The staircase faces due west and a lot of the tiles are iridescent, so walking up this staircase during the sunset with the sun glinting off the tiles is really spectacular.
