Maccreanor Lavington adds timber dining hall with "sense of grandeur" to west London school
Check out this new timber dining hall at the Ibstock Place School in Roehampton, West London! Each of the block's roofs was constructed from glued laminated timber that is visible internally and arranged in a diamond pattern. Thomas Omerod, project architect at Maccreanor Lavington, said: ""The benefits of using glulam, apart from its beauty, was the structure could be prefabricated and finished off-site.""
