Shrimant Mahadaji Scindia
Mahadji was a man of great political sagacity and a great soldier. He fought in around 50 wars between 1745 and 1761. He was responsible for re-organising Maratha power after the 3rd Battle of Panipat. Among his biggest achievements were defeating the British East India Company, conquering Delhi, and reinstalling Shah Alam the 2nd on the imperial throne of Delhi.
