Irish weave vessel, handwoven with the fresh green tones of Dicky Meadows willow and locally-grown varieties. This piece is a new scaled-down and slender version of my much larger baskets that also feature the Irish weave pattern. Inspired by some beautiful ancient clay pots I saw in the British Museum when I visited back in May, these elongated vessel forms have really captured my interest of late, and have sparked many more ideas that I’d like to try in the future.
