One of those ingredients is in no... | By Rebecca's Kitchen | Two sticks of butter. Make sure it melts. We have it on medium heat. Medium. There we go. Light brown sugar into the pot. It's about a cup and a half. Okay, once it gets to a boil like that, you start to see those bubbles then you know it's ready to go and we're putting in some cinnamon. Do you know what this is called right now? Butterscotch. Did you know that's how you make butterscotch? I know. Okay, so we just put that cinnamon in and vanilla. You want about that much? Yup. And make sure you're going to get this all together. Spread it all around. You can turn your heat down now so it doesn't burn. Nice. Gooey. Oh my gosh. It'll be so good. Mix it that cinnamon. Should be turning darker now. See how it's all turning dark? That's when you're ready to go. Okay. So this is it for the stove part. Okay. Sauce is ready. Now, I bet you didn't think what I was going to use. Look at this, babe. Oyster crackers, right? Oyster crackers. I know. Wait til you see this. This snack is so delicious. I swear. I had this at a party once and all the kids were just mowing down. So, I can't wait for our kids to try this one. I know they're going to like it too. Okay. So, here's that butterscotch cinnamon recipe we made. Here we go. Gotta get it all in there none of that gets wasted okay and then so my girlfriend just took a soft spatula because you don't want to break the crackers and you're just going to gently toss them up so it gets nice and coated oh it smells so good right so satisfying Okay. Keep keep it going. It's sticky but it's not too hard to coat em but you just want to make sure you're cutting em over and not quite done yet. That's right. I think that looks good. Good. Yeah. Now you're going to take just a pre-lined pan and we're going to put them on here and they're going to go into the oven. So they're going to bake. Get it as even as you can so that they're not clumped on top of each other so they bake evenly. Let me get, oops, left a couple in that bowl. Here we go. No waste. No, I want every single one of these. Whoops. Got a little little overzealous there. Okay, cool. So, all over the pans. There you go. See how none of them broke. So cool. Alright. Now, this is going into the oven for about 10 minutes at 350 and then you're almost done with these little babies. Don't they look good already? They sure do. Okay. Okay, so now while they're still sticky and warm, you're going to set them out to cool but before you do, you have to take more cinnamon and sugar. I've already premixed this up and then you're going to coat all of these. I got a lot of sauce on that side. Those are going to be really yummy. It's the head side. Yup. While this is cooling, this will help the sugar coat all of these. So, they're nice and powdery and delicious. Alright. And now just let it cool. Let me give you some more babe. There you go. Why aren't you traveling real quick? They're not ready. Okay. And delicious.

Today, I thought we'd make peanut brittle. It's a super easy recipe. We're just going to use our microwave. So, let's get started. First thing we're going to add is one cup of sugar, and then add a half a cup of corn syrup. Stir it together. Yeah, we're going to pop this in the microwave on high for 4 minutes. Now, we're going to add a half of a cup of peanuts Stir it well. Make sure all your peanuts are coated. And now this goes back in the microwave for another 4 minutes on high. Now, we're going to add one teaspoon vanilla, 2 tablespoons of butter Stir it up. Be very careful not to get this on you. It's it's very hot. And once the butter's melted, we're going to put this back in one more time for 2 minutes this time. Now, while this is cooking, we're going to go ahead and get our cookie sheet ready because we're almost finished. And I'm just going to butter my cookie sheet really well. I just use the the little ends of the butter Stir it up. And you'll see it start to foam up like this That's what you want to see. And then we're just going to pour it straight into our baking dish. Alright, you can spread it out just a little bit. And then we're just going to let it sit for 30 minutes. Last step is to just break it. Peanut Brittle. Very good. Thanks for liking and sharing my shareable recipes and I'll be back soon with another video.

45K views · 487 reactions | This is so so good. Better than store bought. | By The Shabby Shack | Hey, y'all. Welcome back to The Shabby Shack. In this video, we're going to make microwave peanut butter brittle. We're going to start out by dumping one cup of sugar into our bowl and then we're going to put a half a cup of light corn syrup into our bowl. Make sure you get it all scraped out of that cup. So, once we've done that, we're going to dump one cup of roasted peanuts into our cup and we're going to mix this up. Guys, once you get this mixed up as best as you can, you're going to pop this into the microwave and let it go for about two and a half minutes. So, once we've microwave that, we're going to bring it out. Everything's melting. We're going to give it a good stir and it's going to go back into the microwave for about 3 minutes. So, here we go. It's back in the microwave y'all. Okay, when it comes out this time, we're going to add a pot of butter which is about a teaspoon of butter and we're going to add one teaspoon of vanilla We're going to get that in there and we're going to mix it until our little pot of butter has melted. Once we've got that vanilla mixed in well and that butter, we're going to put this back in the microwave y'all and we're going to go for about two more minutes. Alright, now that it's come out of the microwave, this is where the magic happens. We're dropping 1 teaspoon of baking soda into our mixture and we're going to mix this up. And guys, this starts to harden really fast. So, you've got to get this pour down to your lightly, lightly, lightly, lightly greased cookie sheet. And you want to try to spread this out. You don't get a lot of time to work with this. So, if you can't spread it, just kind of shake that pan a little. You can let it sit and cool for about 15 to 20 minutes and then you can lift it up and break it apart. Guys, I hope y'all will try this recipe and I hope that you enjoy it and make sure that you come back to The Shabby Shack for more videos y'all.
