Roskilde Domkirke | Roskilde Cathedral dominates the skyline of Roskilde with it's immediately recognisable twin spires. The main body was constructed during the 12th and 13th centuries, although numerous additions have been made since to accommodate a considerable number of burial chapels. The cathedral has been the main burial site for Danish monarchs since the 15th century. In 1995 the Roskilde Cathedral was named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
