Garden designer Victoria Wade shares her tips on creating a wellness oasis
At the centre of her garden, garden designer Victoria Wade has created a cosy and natural wellness oasis with a Skargards hot tub. Surrounded by silver birch trees, ferns, grasses and a rippling pond, the wood-fired hot tub is elegantly nestled between two stone walls. The UK garden designer has some recommendations for those planning to integrate a hot tub into their own garden, too.
Warming up in a hot tub in the mountains at Chalet Rösi
Even as young boys, Mathias Büschlen and his three brothers found a sense of freedom, simplicity and family in this old wooden house in the Swiss mountains. For many years, it was under the care of their great-aunt Rösi. Keeping the house in the family was always a given, so it was passed down to her niece, and then inherited by the four brothers in 2020. As part of their plan to modernise the property, they spruced it up with a wood-fired hot tub in 2022.
Carving out a slice of paradise
Nick and his family live on the picturesque Channel Island of Guernsey. To balance out their hectic work life as self-employed business owners, the couple and their daughter settled down on the south coast cliffs of the island. With its incredible view, their terrace received a much-needed update when they bought their Regal 190 hot tub. Now they enjoy their time off with a glass of wine in a wood-fired hot tub amid stunning surroundings.
Garden designer upgrades her wellness area with a hot tub
The Garden Designer and Blogger Victoria Wade lives in South Wales with her husband Joe and their three year old daughter. The couple run their award winning design business from their home and create beautiful gardens for their clients across the country. Their own backyard got a spa update, when they bought their Regal 220 hot tub and placed it in their favourite spot in the garden, surrounded by plants and flowers.
Luxury cabins with a hot tub perched in the trees
When guests at Pella Roca bathe in a wood-fired hot tub, they are in heaven. 100 kilometres from Toulouse in the south of France, owners Isabel and Max have designed luxurious wooden cabins in the trees to create a recreational area in nature. The Skargards hot tubs are perched on the terraces and offer a view of the wild landscape and even the starry night sky.
Designed for relaxing moments with the hot tub
More than three years ago, Eniko started her “Mydarkhome” account on Instagram. At the time, she wanted to share the result of her remodelled bathroom. Today, hundreds of posts later, she inspires people from all over the world with home decorating and furnishing tips. She renovated one room at a time exactly as she saw fit. Finally, last year, she set her sights on a small area in the garden where she installed a Skargards Regal. Photo: @mydarkhome_
