Giving The Green Light / 2007 Harley Davidson Street Glide
According to motorcycle folklore, you should never paint a motorcycle green. There are several theories behind the color superstition. The most popular one is that during World War II, all the Harley-Davidson service bikes were painted Army Green. Due to their size and vulnerability to arms fire, many servicemen were killed on their bikes as a result. After returning from war, the stigma continued and eventually grew into modern superstition.
