I would be neat to do a small version of this in a sitting area at the top of the yard. With plants - I think the rabbits would eat an herb garden.

This is a wonderful example of putting in plants that will attract the bees needed - the plants like flowering marjoram (and lavender, which flower longer) will ensure that.
